Politare shows who holds political office and how public statistics moved during their time in office. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no forms and no comments, and it does not sell or share data about visitors. This page lists everything that does happen when you use the site.

What Politare itself stores

One setting, in your browser only. When you pick a chart window (5, 10 or 20 years) the choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key politare.range so the next visit opens the same way. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it. Politare sets no cookies of its own.

Analytics

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is built to work without cookies, without fingerprinting and without tracking you across sites. It records which pages were viewed, the referring site, the country, the browser and device type, and how fast the page loaded. It does not store your IP address or any identifier that could single you out, and Politare sees only aggregate counts. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is a set of static files served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes each request, including your IP address, to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. Politare does not receive or keep those server logs. Everything the page needs, including its typefaces, is served from politare.com; no other company's servers are contacted.

Advertising

Politare does not show advertising today. When it does, ads will be served by Google AdSense, and this section will be updated on the day they start. In that case third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of the advertising cookie lets it and its partners show ads based on your browsing. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's ads settings or at www.aboutads.info. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before any advertising cookie is set.

Information about office-holders

The site publishes information about people holding public office: their name, party, and the dates they took and will leave office. It comes from Wikidata and official sources, and the statistics shown next to it are public series from the agencies named under each chart. Politare describes what happened during a tenure; it does not claim the office-holder caused it. If something about you is wrong, write to the address below and it will be corrected or the source noted.

Children

The site is not aimed at children, and it collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top moves and the change is described here. Adding advertising will be the first such change.
